Clinical decision support that listens.

Hadical listens to the consultation, structures what the patient describes, and surfaces the questions and conditions worth considering.

  • English, Amharic, Kinyarwanda Three languages currently considered
  • Human in the loop Every suggestion is the clinician's to accept
  • Built in the room Designed around the consultation, not after it

problem

Doctors are asked to carry more than anyone can.

  1. The record competes with the patient

Time spent writing notes is time not spent listening. Documentation pulls a clinician's attention away from the person in front of them.

  2. No one recalls everything

Medicine holds a vast and still growing body of conditions, presentations and interactions. No clinician can carry all of it at once, and what surfaces in the moment varies with fatigue, caseload and experience.

  3. The unasked question carries the cost

A question that does not get asked while the patient is still in the room becomes a diagnosis found late, or one never found at all.

How it works

Four things happen while the consultation is still going.

  1. The conversation is transcribed

Speech becomes a structured record as it happens, in English, Amharic or Kinyarwanda.

  2. Symptoms are extracted

What the patient describes is identified and organised against our knowledge base of conditions.

  3. Questions surface

Follow-ups worth asking appear while there is still time to ask them.

  4. Conditions are ranked

A considered list of what fits the picture so far, with the reasoning left visible.

The conversation is transcribed
The Hadical decision support screen. A clinician can describe a patient or ask a clinical question, start scribing to capture the live conversation, or draft a differential, an assessment and plan, a clinic note or a history.

Hadical suggests. The clinician decides.

What we are building

Three layers doing the work

AI Transcriber

Working demo

Real-time speech to structured clinical notes across all three languages. Cuts the time spent writing records and improves how complete those records are.

Clinical Decision Support

Early prototype

Surfaces follow-up questions and the conditions consistent with what has been described. Grounded in practising-physician experience, with a clinician in the loop at every step.

Visual Analyzer

Concept

Turns images and video from consultations and hospital floors into clinical insight, alerts and reminders.

Why Hadical

Care in multiple languages.

Most clinical tools are built in English and translated afterwards, if at all. That is backwards for the clinics we are building for. Hadical treats English, Amharic and Kinyarwanda as essential from the start.
